Sunday Sessions: Invisible and Chronic Illnesses Talk – Sunday 17th May, 4pm

Tomorrow we will be having the first of our “Sunday Sessions”; a series of informal talks given by members of the group about their experiences with their disabilities, health conditions and learning difficulties.

This week’s talk will be on Invisible and Chronic Illnesses, with four of our members sharing their own experiences with their conditions. The talk will be very laid back and casual and will be a brilliant way to learn about the realities of living with an Invisible or Chronic Illness, and a chance to meet others who also have similar conditions.

The talk is at 4pm this Sunday (17th) in the OUSU Offices.
The building is fully accessible and directions can be found here. You may need to buzz the door to be let in, but one of our members will come open it for you.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch – you can get hold of us either by posting in the group page on facebook, or emailing myself at samantha.r.pugh@gmail.com, our Events Officer Emma at emma.beddall@some.ox.ac.uk, or our Advocacy Officer Bekki Smiddy, who will be talking at the event, at rebekka.smiddy@stcatz.ox.ac.uk

I hope you are having a calm and relaxing weekend, and hopefully we’ll see you soon!

  Sam – Vice President
